The problem with Terror in Resonance is not the story itself, but its pacing. It would've worked so much better as a 2 cour show, but they could only get the budget to handle 1 cour, forcing them to condense the story. It was good, but had the potential to be so much better.

It's one of the prettiest piece of anime that came out in 2014. OST is good too, and the openings are great.
Unfortunately, the show didn't have a competent screenwriter to put together the story. Each episode was written by a different guy, and since it is an original they didn't have a source material to rely on. It ended as an incoherent mess, like most original series nowadays.
I liked the show because I'm a sucker for Watanabe, but I won't deny its glaring flaws.

It's the only show I've ever watched where every episode was worse than the one before it.
It's gorgeous with a great OST and fantastic direction, but the writing is just so fucking bad. It's a fucking achievement how awful and nonsensical this show ended up being.
