Or, yknow, seeing as how Taichi is going through a struggle of conscience and the new girl seems to be in a spot of trouble herself, a main part of her involvement in the plot at some point could be one of them (or both?) resolving the other's problems and beating the bad guys as a result. Like I dunno, he helps her be more confident and act natural around her new friends, so because of that she gets the strength to speak up against him when he's doing something weak/wrong and change his mindset, turning him into a better leader. I could see that.

I really can't name a good digimon game.
At best at I can point to some I've enjoyed despite their obvious flaws that make them the inferior choice when compared to other games in their respective genres:
Digimon card battle and rumble arena, perhaps digimon world championship too if you're a big fan of the tamagotchis (I personally liked that one more than the first digimon world, even with its retarded training system).

Why would she tease Sora like that if she knew Sora had been in a relationship with Yamato for three years already? And why would Jou say he deserves to be "the first one to find happiness" because he's the oldest if he knew two of his friends had already found happiness three years ago?
There's also the fact that Yamato just doesn't seem to give a fuck about Sora for the most part of the movie.
