The new chief editor of WSS said that they're cutting down a lot of shounen series, and Ohtaka said that the story is at it's half point at the magnostadt war arc, that ended around chapter 200 and the last arc started in 282. Either she can't count for shit or it's just as people have said and magi gets cut short.

Pretty sure Ohtaka said that the start of Alma Tora was the halfway point, so that doesn't imply that it was suppose to run for as long as you thought it would. Also we don't know how long this arc is going to last.

After magnostadt she claimed to be halfway done. If the final arc is ~100 chapters long wich is easily done with this calm and detailed pacing, it will mean she stuck to her original plan.

Isn't Magi one of their top 3 manga along with Silver Spoon and Detective Conan. Pretty sure Magi sold better than both this year and Magi even has a spinoff manga. Cutting it short would be weird.

Oh god, how I've missed these cheeky grins and heart-warming smiles. This is the Magi I fell in love with way back when. After the super edginess and seriousness of the last arc that got old real fast, I'm glad to see this series regaining some of that classic fun-loving charm.

Most manga magazines are printed as cheap as possible and it makes the pages look like they've been Xeroxed a few dozen times.
I used to clean for a few groups and sometimes it was literally impossible for me to tell what was details in the artwork and what was bad printing.
It's good incentive to buy the volumes.
