At least anime trailers tend to be better than Western trailers with this shit.

With all the spoiler tag abuse (surprise boxes!!!) going on, you end up not really knowing whether that hidden black and white text actually is a spoiler or not.
And I though spoiler tag abuse was a bannable offense.
>>133841776
To be fair a lot of bannable offenses are pretty much ignored.
I'm not sure I'd like it if 4chan started removing meme use of spoiler boxes, they can be pretty fun.
>>133841776
i like to think that spoiler tag abuse is a privilage for those who already know the spoilers or dont care.
We all know that its a spoiler tag, so if you go into a threadand hover over onewithout reading/watching the work and get spoiled, you have no one to blame but yourself.
Meme or not its still a spoiler tag in a thread about something you havent watched/read yet.

>>133841970
I'm a main offender of use of spoiler for comedic purpose. I didn't realize the problem I was creating. I'm sorry.
It would be cool to implement two kind of spoilers, maybe have them have different colors, to save both words.
Surprise boxes are often fun.
>>133842152
I think it's fine to just exercise caution with spoilers (basically not opening spoilers in threads relating to the thing you don't want spoiled.) Also generally following the rule of not going into show specific threads if you're behind.
If actual spoilers are spoiled and joke spoils aren't vital to the conversation then it's not really a big enough deal to get into arguments over.

I've never even watched Clannad, but I know that Nagisa dies.
>>133843140
You're not alone anon.
I'll probably watch it soon to cancel the guilt of knowing it.
>coming next season: MC dies in the fifth episode
>>133843140
This. I also knew Spike died way before I watched Cowboy Bebop. It was still pretty good, though.
>>133843140
I knew that too
I didn't know that Ushio also died
>>133841339

>>133843140
>>133843624
These two spoilers are the reason i still haven't watched Cowboy Bebop and Clannad.
Well, i actually started watching clannad but 80% of the cast was completely unrelatable autist characters, like the girl who'd just make wooden stars every day, and the one that just sits in the library all day. The only relatable character was MC.
>>133843717
Bebop is really more about the journey than the destination.
Knowing that Spike dies will not affect the pleasure of watching the series, trust me.
CB doesn't relay on big plot tweest or revelations, more on overall quality and interesting episodes.
That's also the reason why it's so easy to rewatch.
As for clannad, I don't know, never seen it.
>>133842945
Dragonball Z, I'm looking at you.
>>133842992
Example please.
I have been spoiled on every single death in JoJo, but it was still great. The only thing that really stings is the big THE WORLD reveal in Part 7, would have loved to experience that without knowing about it.
