There is a pretty interesting, if kind of pretentious film adaptation of Stalker. For a video game movie, it's actually not that bad. It's something that I think could work even better in animation though.

not stalker-like at all, but the ..zone-city.. (whatever was called) of darker than black, sort of resembles the zone of stalker. it even has artifacts, like that that crystal flower.
though the anime focus on the characters being x-men, and that zone-thing is iirc barely taken into consideration.

For the last time, those were fucking retards. There were like three volumes out in english already before the show started, anyone could read it and see what it's like. And it's nothing like Stalker. The comparison was as retarded as the whining after the anime started.
