I kept hearing great things about it, and then I watched it. There was nothing special about it. It was your typical "kids going on a magical adventure and learning to believe in themselves" story line you might get from Miyazaki (or Disney).
I'm a depressed, fucked-up degenerate, and hopeful and optimistic story lines don't appeal to me.
