The deal with "magic gods made girls fall for me" was really cringeworthy
The whole plotline of Patricia and Birdway was typical (i'm gonna save you! no i'm gonna save you!!!), shitty and ended up looking dumb as fuck when they solved it (still +1 for nephtys stuff i guess)
The overhyped fight between Touma and the other dude ended up half assed because the paralel between them felt really off, the "harem army" was outright ignored (fuck i'm surrounded by 100 crazy bitches in love but anyway end up fighting 1 on 1)
Finally when things started to get kinda interesting: Fight happens offscreen, WR dude doesn't die so he'll keep being boring for a couple of volumes more, and Noukan dies in a blatantly stupid way without even interacting with Touma (smoking dog Kihara + Touman shenanigans would have been great)
I hope next novel we have some nice reactions from touma's fight (does he even know about the stuff inside IB?) and more Aleister suffering

I've read through most of New Testament anon. I read it for Touma and his adventures so I don't know why you're assuming that people that talk about his harem are there for literally nothing else but his harem.
His harem has literally never been a major plot point used so I don't even know why you're complaining as if it's the worst thing that's ruining the story. Kamisato's harem was used as a point to address that it could always be worse with the harem aspect. His harem literally followed Kamisato around everywhere worshipping his ground. That's a contrast where Touma's harem actually live their own lives without him.
If anything, you got triggered pretty easily. All I said was that it was a shame that Carissa didn't join his harem for fun, even though I was also addressing how his punch against her was fun.

Because IB is the original thing. It's what existed since the beginning and has always been so. People may say that it's just a wish made from Magic Gods but it's still uncertain because IB was implied to have existed even before their time. It is the only constant thing in the entire world while WR is made solely to imitate IB. Both here on /a/ and with Japanese fans, chemistry is usually not what they take into account when they ship a girl with MC--simply put they just want their favorite character to win. Mikoto is the most popular Raildex girl, her fans want her to be happy and get what she wants, regardless of Touma's actual feelings.

I think the problem here is that it's been so long. Kamachi's had plenty of time to do it, so if he just started building up their romance all of a sudden it would be a little odd (but that could be said for any of the girls). But it's not impossible he could make it believable, especially since in-story it's only been a few months.

While I agree and don't personally think WR would work on Gunha, I believe that opens a bit of discussion as to whether or not a hero trying to save everyone is actually happy with the world where they have to save everyone.
Unless you're specifically a hero in it for selfish reasons and derive happiness from being a hero which means you enjoy having people to save which melts into having you enjoy people being put into bad situations so you can save them. You've sorta gotta wonder if a hero who saves people for idealogical reasons would be prime WR material since a hero for an ideal obviously isn't happy with the world how it is unless his ideal is ridiculously close to Touma's.
