I use MPC BE with KCP. It works fine except for random instances where the audio stutters and for a second only to fix itself right after.
Only happens when im watching anime and it happens randomly. Thinking about deleting and re-installing everything and hoping that fixes the issue.

This is my current logo.
You do not need CCCP or KCP anymore. MPC-HC now comes with LAV Filters installed. All you need is MPC-HC, MadVR and xysubfilter, and you can use ffdshow audio instead of LAV if you like for advanced audio features like virtual surround for headphones, Winamp plugin support, etc.
Set MadVR chroma upscaling to NNEDI3 64 neurons, image upscaling to Jinc, and under remove artifacts, set debanding to high if watching Horriblesubs. Turn on smooth motion. If this shit is too slow switch NNEDI3 to super-xbr, sharpness 100 for chroma upscaling. Doubling/quadrupling luma/chroma resolution with super-xbr or NNEDI3 can help a lot for upscaling if your computer is fast enough.

I tried MPV because I had problems with the playback of the On Your Mark HEVC encode with all the settings. It does play a little bit better with MPV.

mpv is a command line program, so you configure it by editing *.conf files with a text editor:

For anyone interested I found the solution by fiddling with it long enough: Play -> Filters -> madVR -> Edit Settings -> rendering -> general settings -> uncheck 'enable automatic fullscreen exclusive mode'. It also fixes the strange violet progress bar and the slight jarring when going to or from fullscreen mode.I wonder what the benefit of this option is. Did they do it just to fuck with us?

that's because you need to create and save a text file as "mpv.conf"
anything you don't specify will be left as default. for example, an mpv.conf file with just "screenshot-format=png" (no quotes) will save screenshots as png. add other stuff as needed.
