Miss Polly is less pretty here compared to the anime. That Ghibli character designer did a great job on showing how pretty she is, from her little girl self, her young adult self where she still lets her beautiful hair down, to when Pollyanna gives her a makeover.
From a bright young girl to a grumpy old woman, just because her dear oneesan died.And she didn't get her happy ending in the end.

I wish they had adapted the rest of the Anne books. I want to see the character design for Anne's kids.
