I can understand people disliking Asuka for her personality, and I really do think that Rei is a deep, original, and interesting character the "emotionless doll" fags don't do justice to, but really? Asuka is pure sex, how could a middle-of-the-road traditional Japanese form like Rei even come within the same dimension as the bombshell that is Asuka? There's a reason many falsely dismiss her as merely being a fanservice character, and that's because she's pure sex.
