In other news, this show is really fucking cute. I'm sad I didn't watch it with /a/ around a year ago. I remember seeing the threads and thinking it wasn't worth mentioning. Boy was I wrong.

One of the few shows where the cowtits is thesecondbest girl and the flat chest with shitty personality is the worst.
Convince that this isn't another generic moeblob about cute girls doing cute things and I will give it a try.

I'm pretty sure its technically a comedy, but it does lend a lot of its appeal from the cute girls, but there were a few bits that genuinely made laugh. Also, its a reaction image goldmine.
There was a bit at the end of episode 01 I think that looks like it could have come from an omake where the author talks to his editor about starting a new series (which would become D-Frag). It was pretty funny IMO.
This was a B studio anime then and still is.
Note the dated art style and plot.

The manga is better anyway. I put off picking it up for the longest time because the MC pissed me the fuck off but he's a lot more bearable in the manga.
And senpai is cuter, the anime really goes out of its way to force her appeal while it's a lot more natural in the manga.

D Frag is a high school battle manga, the girls aren't that important.
