Seriously. I liked all of 00, even if some parts were really annoying (Saji/Louise in particular), but at least it had a constant stream of "cool" with just enough of a story to bridge the gap between the action sequences.
AWotT was just so devoid of competent direction and weighed down by a bunch of retarded shit.
I don't even have a problem with UNDERSTANDING in concept, but the movie just failed to deliver a satisfying conclusion to CB's story. S2 with them literally riding off into the sunset was perfect.
Hell the beam spam riddled fight wasn't even all that good except for Graham's final charge.

I really liked it, it was just really fast paced like g-reco, not trying to be a proper story with normal pacing, just every scene chock full of content and cool stuff. If it's not that cool for you then the whole thing is garbage.
