What does /a/ think of Kaiji? Should I watch it??

Kaiji's one of my favorites. It's not for everyone. Expect occasional slow pacing.
If you're just interested in the premise to Kaiji, go for it. If you're interested in FKMT (Fukumoto's) works in general, Tobaku Haoden Zero is like an entry-level Kaiji.
Was one of the first series I watched, and I'm rewatching it now. It's almost as good now as when I first saw it, but some of the things they say feel pretty goofy.

I love it, it's one of my favorite animus. Although, it can get a bit silly at times in the mostly-realistic setting they conjure up, but besides that it's great.

Amazing series and 100% worth it. I had to take breaks between S1 and S2 because it was so intense it drained me.

Honestly worth watching the whole thing just for the end of S2. There are some parts that are slow or tiring but I still enjoyed it a lot, and I rarely see actual hate for it.

It's slow. It can be repetitive, but it's one I think everyone who likes anime can enjoy and OP should watch it. Also, without spoiling anything, I'll say that it ends perfectly.

The struggle to overcome the problems he is facing, i,e., the balls not going in, by using his own ingenuity, luck and the help of others.
It sounds shit when you simplfy it like that, and S2 definitely had pacing issues, but it was still very solid.

You should definitely watch it. I watched it on a whim but I actually got some good life lessons out of it. There were times where shit got too real that it made me look at myself and my own life. It's rare for an anime to have that effect.
Kaiji is a loser but he's a lovable one. You'll genuinely root for him.

This chapters was really good. I can't understand how Ichikawa knew that Hiro dropped a 2-man.
The only thing I could think of is that Ichikawa knows the order of the tiles in the wall, but then he would have known what kind of hand Hiro had.
Is Ichikawa faking that his blind or what? I geuss we will found out in the next chapter.
