I'm going to take a guess here.
The main character is a guy who isn't particularly skilled. But he finds something, some kind of artefact, and inside of this thing is the spirit of some ancient person who was a top level genius. Naturally the main character either gets taught by this genius spirit, or absorbs some of it's powers (or both) and he goes from being a nobody to being a genius himself.
And then he fights, or cultivates or makes pills.
This is literally how every Chinese web novel/whatever they call manga goes. Literally all the time.
