I'd just like to interject for a moment. I've been seeing a lot of people saying you can't talk about RWBY on here period, regardless whether or not it has a manga adaptation. This is a silly notion, because you are thereby damning all discussion of anything that has a source from the west. That means no talking about Gankutsuou or Tezuka's Metropolis, or even some of those really well done OVA's like Franz Kafka's A Country Doctor. And I will be damned if I can't discuss those fine pieces of animation on the board made for them.

I already made this distinction yesterday, you're too late. Old shit that got anime/manga is a different category. No one really talks about adaptations of contemporary Western stuff, because there's an understanding that it's generally tied to and primarily a sideshow for the original Western property. The most we get is the occasional "What the fuck, there's a Deltora Quest anime?" with ten posts, and if a bunch of YA fans who knew nothing about anime tried to make ten threads for that, I'd say ban it, too.
