I think the designs and style of it was really cool, the prison looked great and really helped with the 3D. At times the 3D looked pretty good, if it didn't move so weirdly you could almost mistake it for 2D. That said had it been 2D like the hacker girl in the cockpit then it would have been much better.
Unlike with Dragon Dentist the "watch the sequel" ending didn't work that as well.
Mostly the aesthetics/atmosphere carried it for me, though I thought the drama was fairly entertaining as well. If it were to become a TV anime I would probably watch it even though it's 3D.
