Looks like winter will probably set up for the eventual competition between this and Divine Gate due to card game theme (even though the latter is based on a mobage).
I don't get the comparisons with Wixoss. For now, the TCG doesn't have a copy of Wixoss' most defining feature (ARTS), and the anime doesn't look like the characters will be playing the TCG and instead will just be using the TCG's setting, kinda like the Z/X's anime.

I hate Bushiroad games too, but I think Luck and Logic has potential to be good if only because it really only has one real luck mechanic, Gate cards and it doesn't seem to be too game breaking unlike other Bushiroad games' Luck mechanic. Actually I can't even really call it a luck mechanic because both Players will always have 6 Gates because it's part of the initial game setup and win condition (destroy all six of your opponent's Gates.) and the only luck part is what 6 out of the 10 cards in your Gate deck gets placed on the field and what Gates your opponent destroys and the effect they activate.

Wizards of the Coast is basically the company who got the licenses for japanese card games made by the Takara Tomy in the past(Pokemon, Duel Masters). Wixoss was also made by Takara Tomy. So of course if anyone got the license many suspect it would be them. Of course that is all assumptions.
