Maybe it's just me, but I just find that boring. He just has a very bland personality. Quiet, softspoken, loyal, kind, ace pilot, and ruthless. I'm not asking for a single-minded autist, but part of what makes other Gundam MCs interesting is that they start off with some sort of notable flaw to develop away from. I like the Hyakuren a lot as well, it's sleek despite being bulkier than all of the previous suits we've seen so far. Was expecting to hate the Hyakuri because it looks silly and I imagined it to operate like the Correl but watching the fight with it and Barbatos made me appreciate it a lot more. Plus, dat pilot.

People shit on victory as much as they want, its got issues, but uso is one of the best protagonists in the franchise hands down. He was the single most human and relatable of all of them and even in a dark as fuck series like victory he had such a goofy and fun personality that made the show such an entertaining ride. its really sad watching him slowly become more and more of a shell as the show goes on due to how fucked up everything around him is.

The moonrace at least had a leader with her head screwed on right that just wanted a piece of land to start and wanted to cut a deal with the local governments, the venus globe assholes were literally entirely comprised of the worst moonrace characters from Turn A (Poe) and just went in there shooting everything up.
