You have it wrong. Double agents is how the org recruits people. Once they're deep enough they either corrup them, coherce them or simply force them to live up to their agent status to avoid "suspicion"
Last I checked, Vodka, Gin, two snipers and probably couple more I can't remember now are shown loyal to the organization. Vermouth is not a double agent, but is still a cheat. Then there were those that met their untimely death, like that old guy that screwed up.

I recently did this as well. I was a bit let down to find out Bourbon was another double agent and hoping that's the last of them.

Marathoned the first 200 episodes in 2 weeks easy. But things became too repetitive and the art style started to get worse every couple episodes. I'm now at around episode 450 after around 2 1/2 years.
I wonder if I'll ever be able to catch up.
