First it's the intro, then the recap, then they replay some footage from the last episode for a while and *then* they start the episode. Seriously, skip five minutes ahead, see if i'm fucking joking.
That means they're only going at a rate of a few fucking pages per episode, and the episodes are only 15 minutes long.
I'm sure you can see it, the quality of animation has dropped drastically and they're reusing whole scenes like it's the fucking dark tournament arc and nobody wants to draw a few extra frames of crowd reactions.

They should drop the 1 chapter = 1 episode schedule. When Oda was working like crazy it would make sense to keep it that way, but now that Oda is taking more breaks keeping that schedule will only screw with the anime, since we'll get episodes that loop scenes forever and we still will get filler episodes after it.

Opinions. I love the Bon Voyage, Kokoro no Chizu and Brand New world the most (4th, 5th and 6th). After that, it sounds like they dont have enough vibe. Hard Knock Days got me some vibe, but not enough as the old ones. It may have been the best they've made the last couple years.

That's how I feel. Besides Whitebeard only Marco, Jozu, Vista, and Ace stood out. I think Shanks has equivalents to these guys and the rest don't really matter.

Very, very tough call between Usopp and Sanji.
Usopp's a perpetual wild card because he's undeniably weaker than anyone on the Strawhat crew, besides maybe Nami, and therefore he tries to make up for it with a mix of a coward's desire to live, a liar's ability to bluff, and a constant analysis to find the cheapest, easiest way available to win. You can't even blame him, he's just put in these fights with such a pants-shittingly unfair advantage that he just does what he has to to stay alive longer than his opponent.
