Well, you're obviously retarded. But that being said, Utena is pretty wonky for a while. I found it slow and it did retread a lot of the same ground multiple times. But it also gets better, a lot better. It doesn't get less "fedoracore">>>/r9k/but the characters and plot become significantly stronger. The first third of the series I was pretty lukewarm about, the second third picked up a bit, and the final third really nailed it. Also the absurdism and art nouveau throughout are actually great.
