I tried it out for a couple weeks. The 100 situps and squads were easy and the 100 pushups are okay if you devide them into sets. The 10km run is a pain in the ass so I devided it into 5km in the morning and 5km in the evening. Looking forward to tearing down buildings just by slamming the door too hard.

Doing it without breaks, and especially the running part on asphalt will fucking destroy your body.
Running 10 kilometers on asphalt every single day with no break-days will ruin your legs/knees in less than 2 years.

If someone who's never trained before picked up saitama's training schedule and stuck with it every single day they'd ruin their body and probably get permanent injuries within 6 months.

I think i have ruined my knees.
I used to sprint on concrete for about 10 minutes then take a 5 min break and repeat for about an hour. This was around when i was in high school. I have stopped running and now i have a slight but constant pain in my knees ( more in the right one) . The x-ray shows i have a joint effusion and i cant sprint at my max now

never had ac but haven't developed any super power whatsoever.
working out routine is crazy, a human body would not last for long. either way there is a power cap on each and everyone of us.
when you reach it, no matter how hard you practice you change nothing. you just sustain your peak condition which will wither as you grow older.

Literally the only way to die from this workout is if you:

1) Are an idiot while out jogging and run in front of a truck because you have headphones on and aren't paying attention to your surroundings.

or

2) You're a landwhale and suffer a heart attack in the middle of overexerting yourself. In which case, you were probably going to have a heart attack sooner or later anyways.

Saitama's workout is average, but the fact is that he did it EVERY SINGLE DAY. Do you know what that means?

Doing all that stuff without rest days is suicidal. It's not a matter of willpower or physical fitness, you literally won't obtain real results by torturing your body with all that exercise without rest days.

Exercise doesn't build muscle. Exercise HELPS build muscle, but you need sleep and a good diet to actually obtain it.

If you could get yourself to lift like a madman every day and sleep 6 hours every night or skip most meals every day, you wouldn't get anywhere.

Sleep > Diet > Exercise.
>>
>>133095681
Why?
>>
>>133095795
EVERY DAY
for
THREE YEARS
Every workout routine has resting periods included, anon. But not Saitama's.
Not to mention that he wasn't fit or anything before he started his training, so yeah he got exceptionally exhausted both mentally and physically. But he pulled through, he overcame the mental barriers telling his body "you can't do this".
That's where his strength comes from, he trained until he was as strong as he believed he was.

Anybody saying it won't do shit to your legs is extremely wrong.
Running is a fad among air force base commanders around here, and they partake in every army race, same goes for my old base commander, who I personally know to do 10k every morning at 6am.
I can confirm that he is bald, and his legs are pretty fucky but functional on a day-to-day basis, however when doing one of those races (half marathon) his legs basically fail him for a week.
He's about 40, but he's the only one who's routine I know exactly.
Other high ranking officers around here do about the same, and have about the same consequences, and they're in their 30's, so, "he's just old" doesn't really apply.
>>
>>133100502
Where is he running at?
>>
>>133100759
Base running track.

The standard 300m~ oval red thing.

As for races, they can really be anywhere, any base/city/street.

Also if there's a "City Race" anywhere nearby, you fucking bet he'd be there.
So asphalt and painted asphalt.
>>
>>133097097

>>
>>133093739
everyone's doing it wrong guys. he said 10km running.

running. not jogging. you have to RUN for 10km. he was already a god
>>
Do people seriously think 10k a day is difficult? That's what, a little over 6 miles? It's laughable that we've become such slobs that people seriously think running 6 miles each day could kill someone.
>>
>>133100913
with regular training you can pull it off easily.
It's just that some fat blob will try it in the hot summer with thick clothes and die from dehydration because he only drinks Mountain Dew while running.
>>
>>133100913
10k RUNNING full tilt?
>>
Some researchers say that humans were made for very long runs, so basically on extended period of time they could outrun any other animal. Others say that they were walking daily and just occasionaly sprinting. What is the right answer anymore? Do you think 10km 2 days a week is still damaging?
>>
>>133100987
1 time wont kill anyone. Doing that ever single day for 3 years most likely wont kill you either, but it WILL ruin your legs completely.
>>
>>133100913
>>133100987

10k daily fucks up your legs.

There's both anecdotal and scientific evidence.
Stop being retarded.

It's not a matter of endurance training (heart+luns), nor a muscle issue.
It has to do with other soft tissues in your body being in prolonged, daily abuse with no time to recover.

Fat has nothing to do with it, sure it will increase the strain but even someone skinny will fuck his shit up. Look up nigga.

With proper rest you could easily do marathons or ultra marathons on a fairly regular basis, but only with proper running surface, and proper rest.
>>
>>133101029
10km 2 days a week is not damaging. 4 times a week is okay aswell. What destroys your legs is the fact that there are no rest days.

I don't understand why this is so hard for people to understand.

There is no workout routine in the history of anything ever that doesn't have rest days.
>>
>>133101083
>>133101055
yeah, resting periods are pretty important I guess.
In my example, I was thinking more of heat strokes or circulatory failure or something, not actual death from doing it repeatedly.
>>
Wait can people actually do 100 pushups non stop? Is this normal for a person?

I see people doing sets but not the full 100. Same for sit ups
>>
>>133101251
Straight off the bat probably not every average joe could do a set of 100, especially not in countries where obesity rates are fairly high.
However a healthy person (standard bmi, no major illnesses or injuries to the body) could easily reach a set of 100 with a little bit of training.
Same goes with running a 10k or swimming 1k.
>>
ain't the fact that doing everyday is what kills the man?
