yea I have not modifies many figures before but this might be the first one where I try to make a different base. Its very cheap plastic with a slight black tint. I was at least expecting that base to be a heavy chunk of plastic to give it some weight. Also her face is hard to see unless you are looking at equal level or at an upper angle which is difficult at my height.

A lot of the doujinshi I've gotten from Suruga-ya have had bent corners and scratches on the covers. Usually the scratches are just light ones, though the last time I bought from them I got one where it looked like someone ran a mechanical pencil over part of the cover, and another one had loose binding. None of the inside pages have ever shown signs of damage though, and considering the prices were generally 50~100 yen I'm okay with it.
