That's a very very deep opinion as is majority of what you said. Yes, its a damn comedy, there's no serious tones (or many). It's whole existence is based off witty, middle-school class "He's the strongest and best everyone" with a taste of plot for the people that isn't enough for. It makes people laugh more than think, or any other emotion. Do you feel any tension from the fights that include saitama? Do you think the series will get deeper and more compelling? OPM actually has quality animation, as opposed to the QUALITY we've been getting with figuratively EVERYTHING that isn't film with a monstrous budget (for anime).
If nothing else, don't hate on OPM because it just might push other studios into making series with decent animation if nothing else.

This is exactly the same with western series. I netflix ALL my series. The problem is not the consumers. The problem is the market not adapting. Look at netflix. Look at spotify. Any subscription service for any entertainment. This is the future of entertainment and anime studios/the creators as a whole need to get their heads out of their asses and start offering this to people.
