Naruto is a gateway anime of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS. The biggest plothole was how everybody kept ignoring the big sacrifices Sakura made, even the fans of the series themselves.
When I ask people why they dislike Sakura, these are the usual responses I get:

Sakura just wanted Naruto to stop going after Sasuke for her sake. After the Sasuke issue was resolved, Sakura would have told Naruto the truth and Hinata could have gotten together with him. Sakura was very selfless in that scene and only wanted to do what's best for her comrades.

I personally still don't understand where Nagato's, Madara's, Hashirama's and Sasuke's immense power came from. According to the physical laws of the Naruto world, you need chakra to do magic. You don't have infinite chakra unless you're a zombie (for some reason), it takes time gathering it and you can run out of it. I have no problem with Kaguya because she ate the fruit. It also made sense that the sage had this immense power after he absorbed the Yubi. But what about Nagato, for instance? Sure he got the eyes which allow him to do super magic. But you still need chakra to fuel the super magic, don't you? Where is he getting it from? Why does he have so much more of it than anybody else? Was it stored in the eyes by Madara? If so, where did he get it from? Indra's ghost? But if Indra's ghost gives you immense chakra reserves, then why didn't Sasuke have immense chakra reserves since the very beginning?

It would have been neat if the village had a bit more defined architectural style, with the religious motifs of the Will of Fire, the symbol of the Hidden Whirlpool, woodcuts of the establishment of the village, maybe the odd statue of recognizable clan heads offering their allegiance to the village were fairly inconspicuously in the background of scenes. Then it would have been easy to sneak motifs of her among them, as a reoccuring figure.
