It's a extremely generic shonen who's only good point is that it's fanservice it grade A. It's also popular so that alone warrants hate cause that's how /a/ works.

I remember when I first saw this and I was like wait, did One Piece get a spinoff? It's generic as fuck and totally incoherent. I still cringe when I remember that skyisland ripoff arc where the author clearly had no idea where the story was going and was writing chapter for chapter, with idiotic plot twists and asspulls all over the place.
The only thing keeping it afloat is the gratuitous amount of fanservice and the fact that the mangaka is tireless and produces way more content than should be humanly possible.
I gave up on it early on when they revealed the power of some random bad guy to be imagination, meaning he could literally do whatever he wants, and he still jobbed like a fucker. I'll admit though, the anime has an awesome soundtrack - it's what hooked me to actually try reading it.

How about the fact the show and manga just isn't good at all. I dropped it after 3 arcs and came back to it to see if it got any better.....it got worse. To say this show is a disappointment is an understatement.
