I don't mind 'non endings' to things, not every arc has to come full circle but how frequently it happens in bleach annoys me. The gerad thing was to show off powers (so was the espada, RG, lettered quincy.) Their purpose in the lore/story is basically fodder and side material for giving the fuck huge cast screen time.
Why anyone ever follow ywach for this long makes no sense. The few who revolted after almost dying from the power take back were scrubs. There's not enough on WHY for a FEW HUNDRED YEARS these people sat around waiting for their boss to wake up and then fuck them in the ass.
Why isn't ywach just killing Ichigo, that girl and everyone who is a threat. He has precog (of indeterminate time frame), but at least long enough to know who he should kill. Is it really going to be stupid hubris of 'so powerful you ignored the threats until it was too late' again. That was Aizen's mistake not killing Ichigo (Aizen never killed a shinigami, but ywach on the other hand has no qualms about killing shinigami, his own people or whole realities).

What's Ichigo's deal in regards to his chain of fate, considering it tore itself apart until he hollowified. His body ages, but his 'spirit' is detached. He can't be called human after that point.
