To be perfectly fair it doesn't seem like Lili's doing enough work to earn half of the loot (disregarding the fact that she's skimming it to cheat adventurers.)
I mean carrying stuff is nice, but how much stuff does she actually carry? We see her walk around with that huge backpack, but it was already huge before she entered the dungeon with Bell.
Then there's the whole part about "processing monster parts" which is also weird to me because from what we've seen monsters just disappear and drop their loot afterwards: mostly crystals and that one time we saw some kind of tooth.
She doesn't even provide meals or healing and I don't even mean combat healing, only first aid or something between fights.
I don't want to say supporters are useless because I'm sure she's helpful in some way, but so far I simply haven't seen her pulling her own weight.

Well, I can actually see her usefulness (as someone who's wasted his whole life playing MMOs.) She carries shit, and she carries a LOT of shit. She's a loot mule. With her, he can spend more time grinding monsters for cash than he could ever do himself.
She does the heavy lifting, while he can focus on defending himself and fighting monsters. If he had to drag stuff back by himself, he would run into trouble if he was attacked. More, it would limit how far he could go and how much he could carry before he was defenseless.

Omori is pretty smart in making her presence even more prominent for the readers, since only when she is gone that you miss her more. Bell's inner monologue helps a lot in that regard to.
