I can't remember if it was 12 or 13 episodes allotted for this show, but that means there's 6 to 7 episodes for volume 9 and 10, assuming they don't go anime-original content on us. That won't necessarily be split evenly. I'd say 4 episodes for volume 9 and 2-3 episodes for volume 10. That's pretty well-paced from here on out.

Speculating can be fun. I don't particularly like the NTR shit that's been thrown around with a Hayama/Yukino pairing (which I could actually support as long as it doesn't involve Hachiman having his feelings hurt), but things like a Kurosawa-esque ending with Miura or the plot device ending of Iroha since she's so damn cute has been fun.

According to MAL, it's 13 for this season. Assuming Episode 6 only tackles Ch. 0-2, and plans on finishing around Ep. 9, then we can expect Vol. 10 to also take four episodes. Given the memorandums and the prominence of No Longer Human for that volume, I really hope they take the time to flesh out the theme as much as possible. I'd prefer four episodes, so I hope they don't try and stretch Vol. 9 to five.

Ah for some reason I either thought that she left or the opposite. I thought the scent of tea filling the room might imply that people are cognizant of the tea and that it is immediately obvious to them, when they stop noticing it is because they're more engaged. One problem I have with this season is they haven't constructed any real sense of closeness through interaction in the room, the fact that they would just be making small talk doesn't seem too far off what it is like now.

Moonreader here. Here's a summary of 10.5 chapter three from what I remember:Iroha wants to use up the StuCo's leftover budget by publishing a free paper. She asks the Service Club to help out, but they refuse because the timeline is too tight, so she blackmails Hachiman with the date receipts, which convinces him to help. Yui and Yukinon follow suit.
The free paper they decide to do is something like a magazine for new Sobu students introducing them to the various school clubs and some places in Chiba like the cafe from chapter two. Iroha accidentally shows Yui and Yukinon the date photo.
They split up to interview the club leaders. Iroha and Hachiman go to interview the boys clubs, Yui and Yukinon interview the girls clubs. Hachiman takes a ton of photos of Totsuka, filling up the camera's memory. Then they go to take photos of the soccer club and Iroha gets all excited and tells Hachiman to take photos of Hayama.
The deadline approaches quickly and Hachiman gets writers block. As he works alone in the StuCo room, the other girls come in and support him one at a time. Yukinon brings him a warm can of MAX coffee, and eventually everything gets finished.
Chapter four is only a few pages long, IIRC Hachiman and Komachi go on a late night walk to the convenience store and chat.
