Yokota Takuma, the artist for Molester Man and Onani Master Kurosawa is starting a new series in Weekly Shonen Jump. This is the cover for the issue that it starts in.

If no one translates it sooner then Viz should be translating it as part of their Jump Start initiative on May 11th. (The irst 3 chapters at least, more if they pick it up as a normal series.)

>Molester Man
>Onani Master Kurosawa
How did he made it to WSJ with record?
Is he friend with Oda or something?
>>
>>124806385
i think it's more that they don't really care
>>
>>124806385
last mangaka with a hit was Tosh

you really think history matters?

Just the artist though. I know they had different authors, but the stories of OMK and MM were what made them good, so i won't get my hopes up for this one.

Actually, Yoko did the one shot of this series in 2012 and Oda praised it in the comments

It's not like Jump can serialized a story by vip, the japanese /b/
>>
>>124806385
you can send your manuscript, if it's good, their editorial will find you an artist. screw with history, if it will sell, they will publish you.
>>
>>124806185
Looks great! Can't wait for it to get axed after 24 chapters!
>>
What's it about?
>>
>>124806185
now that's something I've never thought I'll live to see

Title roughly translates to "Straighten Your Back!" Looks like it's about dancing.

Sentou Hakai Dangerous' art was pretty good, very cute girls that die horribly. I'm looking forward to the cute ballroom dancing in Jump.
>>
>>124806185
what's the title of it?

He did the manga adaption of Sentou Hakai Gakuen Dangerous.

I say manga adaption, but I have no idea what the fuck thew source of Dangerous is. It's either some LN, a game, a manga.

>weekly series

I don't think anyone's going to pick it up, weekly series suck and the raws usually suck. Is Viz reliably ripped?

Pic related also seems to be about cute ballroom/balet dancing, by H-artist Cuvie

>weekly series suck

I meant to say that working on weekly series always seems like a major pain in the ass. Unless Viz butchers this, just wait for someone to scan the tank.
>>
>>124809288
>Is Viz reliably ripped?
Nope. Maybe more these days though, but it's still only a few series.
>>
>>124809415

I thought someone was ripping their WSJ issues.
>>
>>124809434
And only uploading like what was it, Hero Academia, Soma, World Trigger and a few others.
>>
>>124809530

Well, perhaps we can just ask him to rip the chapter, then. He's probably only sticking to what's in demand.
>>
>>124809552
It's also because they don't know how to rip them effectively. It's not really worth explaining to someone who doesn't know how to do it.
>>
>>124809530
He also rips the Jump Starts (which this will be) so it'll be ripped.

WSJ is a business mate, and their business is selling books.

>>Oda: takes a break every 2 weeks, but his series maintains WSJ sales. He stays
>>Togashi: shit-house work ethics, but everytime he announces resuming serialisation, sales get boosted. He stays.
>>Obata: long time loyal contributor, but if his series is not popular (Blue Dragon, Gakkyu Hotei) he gets canceled and told to work on something else.
>>Yasuhiro Kano: he just keeps getting cancelled.

>Looks like it's about dancing.
Are we finally getting the obsessive, detailed manga about dancing I've always dreamed of? After who knows how many they've made about boxing, it's about time.
>>
>>124810445
>Oda: takes a break every 2 weeks

No he doesn't, it's about once every 4-5 weeks.

There already are manga about dancing, you just didn't bother researching.

In fact, a quick search turned up 100+ manga titles about dancing.
Majority of them are Ballet dancing though.

Fans in the west really REALLY underestimates the amount manga in existence.

this one is great

>OMK
>not the best thing ever
it's a positive rather than a negative.
haven't read molester man, so dunno about that.
>>
>>124812387
There's manga drawn on just about every subject in existence. Rule 34b: if it exists, there's a manga about it.

>manga about doctors and vets
>manga about stretching
>manga about taking shortcuts
>manga about electronics store
>manga about sumo
>>
>>124812537
Maybe he wasn't implying that OMK was bad, just that its content (Molester Man too) wasn't exactly appropriate for the WSJ audience. MM had some mature content (not just the sex scene).

Medaka Box has taught me that a typical WSJ manga needs Friendship, Teamwork and Victory.
>>
>>124812322

I just finished catching up.

I almost got an anxiety attack from the substitution thing, which wasn't helped by a night's sleep.

And then

There are so many people in the manga/anime industry that also do smut, fellas.
