After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. I wouldn't finance anything. My money is infinitely devalued. Come to think of it, are we talking physical cash? Because I'm pretty sure I'd be dead if I had to occupy the same universe as an infinite amount of money. And if it's a digital fortune, only existing in a computer system, I think any computer system handling my fortune would crash from trying to process the infinite values. But, supposing it works, I'd still get investigated for suddenly producing unfathomable amounts of money, and I'm not sure I want to deal with that just so I can watch cartoons. However, supposing I acquired this fortune through legitimate means, and it does not devalue itself infinitely, or kill me, or whatever, that leaves the question of how I came to be so rich. Did I inherit it? Did I work for it? None of that would be possible for me, so I'd have to imagine myself as being different from who I am in order for it to make sense, but that means that the person with infinite money is not me. The probability of it being me is zero. Therefore the subject of this scenario is someone else, even though this person either may or may not be similar to me in any number of ways. But I can't answer your question, because I don't know this person. I can't tell you about the hypothetical course of action of a person I know nothing about.
