Just what exactly is a Hero of Justice, /a/?
It's someone who kills the villains.
>>124676632
A jackhammer
>>124676632
Someone who risk their lives so that others can live.
A hero? A hero is someone who wants to be thanked for saving the world.
But the real hero is the one who is willing to be despised for doing it.
Swinging unusually hard objects and side-lining your servant for no good reason.
>>124677288
Whoa.. this sounds really chuuni.
>>124676632
A Jackhammer
>>124677276
Isn't this a unhealthy way of living?
>>124677347
I see you've met Lelouch.
>>124677337
I would sideline Saber too if she kept trying to charge into battle despite limited prana and nerfed stats. You don't even need to see her get wrecked to know that shit is gonna end bad.
>>124677347
Code Geass is Chuuni as fuck
>MC and crippled sister are exiled royalty from the world's leading empire
>MC gets a power in his eye to control people from an immortal mysterious chick
>Power eventually goes out of control
>Giant Robots
>MC ends up unifying the world by having everyone hate him when he rules the entire world as a dictator
>He even plans out his own assasination
Is this turning into another TYPE-MOON meta thread?
>>124677337
Well maybe is Saber wasn't so incompetent Shirou wouldn't have to step up to the plate.
>>124676632
Someone who wishes for others to be in danger.
>>124677526
Aren't all threads type-moon meta-threads?
Why don't they translate it as "superhero"? Do 'hero of justice' or 'ally of justice' sound cooler?
>>124677643
Yep. Adding "Super" in-front of a word just sounds SUPER dumb.
>>124677643
Because he literally says "seigi no mikata".
>>124676632
Somebody who SAVES EVERYONE.
>>124677690
It means beyond the ordinary.
>>124677692
The term means "superhero". That's being too literal.
>>124677643
It's what it means to be someones ally
>>124677643
Superhero has a certain weight to it in America, I'd prefer plain hero in many cases.
This route really shows that Shirou values the meaning of family.
Goes mental and has war flashbacks when Shinji threatens his sister, and after finding out about Rin being related to Sakura he's always trying to get them back together. It's like another important theme in play.
>>124677778
That's playing with it. When nips say 正義の味方, 'superhero' is the equivalent.
Someone who is willing to fight for the right ideals because it is the right thing to do!
Posting best hero of justice
>>124676632
Everyday heroes like the police, firemen and paramedics. And lifeguards I guess? Also high school teachers, that shit's a thankless job.
>>124677337
What if your servant's a really cute grill?
>>124677703
But what happens when everyone has been saved anon?
>>124676632
Someone who is fucking guilty about being alive thinking that he's living on borrowing time and will always try to save everybody to compensate for all the people that were sacrifficed in oder for him to live, even at the cost of not saving himself.
>>124677929
I think it would be you who does not understand JUSTICE!
>>124678234
>didn't read the VN
>>124677703
better picture
>>124678255
True. But care to explain what's wrong with my statement?
>>124678234
Read the fucking VN.
>>124678347
The VN doesn't contradict what I said.
>>124678337
Shirou wants to be an ally of justice because he wants to be like Kiritsugu and experience the same joy he felt when he saved Shirou.
Him being the only survivor of the Fuuyuki Fire has nothing to do with that goal.
A hero of justice is someone who does the right thing at a personal cost to themself.
Even when the world may turn against them, they persevere because they know what they did and what they will do is righteous.
Even when the public opinion would lambast and destroy them in all facets of their life, they keep a strong face and carry onwards, and even afterwards, they brush off any troubles, and live their own lives like they want and desire. They do the right thing, even when nobody is watching.
Because a hero of justice is not doing it for the fame, or the money; being a hero of justice may cost them all of those, it may cost them their family, their privacy, even their very life.
But a hero of justice does what they do because it is right, and because it is what must be done to keep safe those who lack the wherewithal to do the right thing themselves.
There are not many heroes of justice in the world, but many of the ones who are out there aren't considered "heroes". At least not right now, but maybe some day they will be seen for what they really are.
