Do you think some translation group will pick up the manga starting from the 7th or 8th volume at least? Dark Horse is so slow on even announcing the damn thing, let alone a release date for it. Usually it's at least half a year after the announcement. So if we get lucky, it will be announced by the end of the anime and then we'll have to wait another half a year, meanwhile the 11th volume in Japan will be out by then.
Also, vol 10 seems very promising, except the terribly drawn Klaus for some reason.

There was a rumor in one of the threads that it was ending but I don't know if it's true and haven't seen any comment on it either way on the nip side but my japanese sucks so I probably wouldn't notice it even if they did. The spoiler I saw for the latest chapter (should be in volume 11 when it comes out) looked like another casual adventure but it didn't have any of the characters from the volume 10 spoiler so I have no idea whether it had any lasting consequences or developments. Maybe the boost in popularity will get him to extend it or at least I hope so. And you may be setting yourself up for disappointment if you expect backstories, I can easily see him leaving that up to the reader's imagination.
