A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
I'd take a popular harem series and make an anime original adaption where all the girls leave the MC for other men.

A Kill la Kill SoL spin-off series focusing on Takarada and starring Harry Enfield in the lead role.
I notice that a lot of Japanese animes have an element of things being summoned by kids to do battles. So Marvel Disk Wars, Pokemon, Digimon, Beyblade, Yu Gi Oh, etc. And I notice Japan is lacking in cultural sensitivity. So I invented a new anime idea.
The anime is called "Trigger Nigger" (トリガーニガー [TorigÄnigÄ]), and it is about a Japanese school boy called Luther, who on his 6th birthday gets gifted a G.A.T (Gun of African Teleportation). This revolver like device contains six chambers, each chamber can hold a 'BULIT' (Black Undead Low-calibre Instantaneous Teleporter). These BULITs contain the spirits of black people throughout time and space. They may just be common ones, like Tyrone who lives in Atlanta or Bongani the Zulu. But the powerful ones that the protagonists seek are famous ones like Steve Urkel, DMX, Malcolm X, Precious, Al Jolson, Queen Latifah, Trayvon Martin, Oprah Winfrey, Tupac, Biggie, Benjamin Sisko etc.
The main arc follows Luther and his friends as Luther tries to become the ultimate Triggermeister. In this it's sort of like Pokemon, with Luther acquiring new BULITs and battling other Triggermeisters. The primary antagonist is Nathaniel Ahmed Alan Charles Paton (also known as NaAcP). His goal is to amass all the BULITs in the world, and trigger them at once, completely destroying mankind with the equivalent of a billion LA Riots all over the world. Luther and his pals will confront NaAcP frequently, as the series progresses.
The opening theme is New Slaves by Kanye West, but covered by SNSD.
The closing theme is Missing You by Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs.
Anyway, any ideas for how I could tweak it? Any suggestions to improve it? I reckon it could be the best shonen anime, as it mixes the great music of hip hop, with fascinating black culture, and with the always popular 'monster battler' format of show.
Remake SAO but kill off Kirito during the first boss fight and have the rest of the story follow Klein and his group of friends.

Post-singularity scifi setting, in space. With crazy AIs in control of small-moon-sized spaceships, FTL and an energy budget that makes matter synthesis trivial.
Humans still exist, but they're heavily augmented and yet they are little more than an ant farm so the AIs don't go totally bored.
There generally is no real threat to them, but while they are extremely powerful they're not omnipresent, so they still have to move their asses to manage the less advanced species in the galaxy with a guiding hand.
- no highschool
- every character is unique (heavily altered and individualized human physiology)
- everything is done in excess. why have elevators in a spaceship if you can just move your entire apartment around or can be in several places at once. also, who needs holograms if you can assemble a remote body from atoms on demand?
- the ships have intricate, highly impractical designs held together by forcefields. like low-gravity floating forests with the atmosphere only held in by a field, with excellent view towards space
- trippy scenes whenever someone views things with a far wider spectrum than visible light
etc.
Good writers are important too, but even if the story turns out to be boring, it still should make redline look like a child squiggling with crayons on sandwich paper.
Basically, a Culture adaption, but with less hedonistic humans and more technology, fuck yeah.
