Nobody appreciates the Zetsubou anymore. It's all about the Mongotaris or Nisekois with you all! KODANSHA USA won't even release the rest of the manga! I'M IN DESPAIR! BEING A FAN OF A FOREIGN MEDIA THAT WILL NEVER BE PROPERLY RELEASED FULLY HAS LEFT ME IN DESPAIR!
I see.

Dude, just give up. I know I have, Kizu never.
This is sort of left field, but I appreciate how the despair sentence was wordy and long like it usually was in the show instead of just being started with a few words like is usually done by fans.

It's not 2007 anymore.
>>124505269
But sensei, how could an untranslated work, something I've only ever seen people talk about on 4chan, really exist so close to me? I'm sure KODANSHA USA is just waiting to build suspense.
>the anime will never be subbed well or even consistently
At least I grabbed all the old manga chapters before it was licensed.
Fuck this was a great show/manga, if I was a richfag I would get the show and manga rights and release/sub them and upload them online for free.

This show would have been much better if the skits were four or five minutes long instead of 12.
The second half of season one really started to drag and every joke wore out its welcome.

Honestly season 1 was my favorite, if only because I loved all the introductory chapters. Although the skits were great and was a big part of what made the show great, I still wish it was slightly more character centric and I wish some of the more recurring plot elements from the first few volumes and first season carried over. I would have made what was already an amazing twist ending even better.

>Nobody appreciates the Zetsubou anymore.
Yeah, we only have a thread about it every single day.

pleb as fuck
Pani Poni Dash is the best work SHAFT ever created fucking hands down. SZS is a semi close second.

Madoka season 2 ever?;_:
So should I even bother watching this if I haven't been studying Japanese history, language, and culture for the past six years?
Does anyone else think Shaft cribbed a lot of their in-jokes from SZS? They did headtilts a lot in the SZS manga, and the artwork also has that flat geometric look. Monogatari and Madoka owe a lot to SZS.
I have the first eight volumes in Japanese and I still read them all the time. They're great for studying.
I think there's quite a dedicated fanbase out there that has just run out of things to talk about, since there's no new material.

I read they wanted too do a SOL second season but did the movies instead.
>>124509485Truth.
>>124509749
They could do a second SOL season now; call it The Rebellion of Akemi Homura-chan.
>>124509837
They do that before working on Kizu.

A thread of 5 people.

At least it still gets some attention, that's more than a lot of other shows gets. It's criminal that there's not more people that've seen SZS.

Let's face it, the 7 years gag is the only thing keeping zetsubous afloat
The references in SZS aren't getting any more understood with the passage of time guys.
SZS taught me:
Suicide groups exist in Japan (Paranoia Agent backs this up)
4-koma style
That yaoi is an acronym
