You know the best part of the scene is how Hachikuji intentionally brings up their routine to cheer him up, and that it works.
It strongly conveys just how much his banter with Hachikuji has lifted his spirits throughout the series, considering Araragi's actual concerns and feelings usually aren't that apparent to the viewer.
