To anyone that has a knowledge of art style and art history and has seen Madoka, would you be able to explain what art movements and art styles are used for the Witch Labyrinths (or what artists they are inspired by)?
It goes back further than Madoka, it's just a lot more prevalent in it. Shaft uses similar techniques in many of their anime to various degrees.
