This is 12mins Inferno Cop with some real animation thrown in the middle and lots of Ninja killing.
I was up on my toes the entire 10 minutes of the episode. I wish Inferno Cop was like this with the upgraded conversations. This is quite the surprise hit, I thought I would see generic Trigger actions but I was not disappointed in the least by this spectacle. I cracked on the obvious lack of speech during two scenes. Its clear that the Ninja inside of Kenji compells him to kill himself that would kinda form a dark Ninja Slayer and begin an epic battle between each other where Kenji shows how he had outgrown Ninja-san. I can't stop, guys. This anime. It did it.

Most of the issues people had with KLK was a result of them going "what do we do now?" halfway through making it because they ran out of ideas and time
making the bad animation bits funny bad instead of just bad and only having to come up with 15 minutes of stuff instead of 30 plays to triggers strengths (coming up with one off gags/characters and drawing overly elaborate close ups) and downplays their weaknesses (their inability to actually write a story or a character arc)
This all probably comes off as damage control or whatever, but that's how I see things.

The novels were penned under the names Bradley Bond and Philip "Ninj@" Morzez, who were purported American authors who allowed the series to be translated by Honda Yu and Sugi Leika, who are in reality the actual authors.
