To me, Takeo sounds like a guy lowering his voice below his natural range for the role, which is exactly what's really going on. I'd have preferred either a guy who didn't sound so cartoonishly gruff, or someone with a truly deep voice who didn't sound like he was forcing it. Yamato's fine. Girls will speak with a voice high in their range. It's natural. Suna sounds a tad too expressive. I imagined him just a hint more deadpan.

I got the impression that Yamato moves fast. And that she's going to take charge of the relationship right away - "meet me alone without that third wheel next week" in the second episode doesn't give me the impression of "slow".
I was thinking "I am going to drop this like a bag of rocks if they don't get together by the 6th episode" but I'm starting to have hope. Not that it won't be crushed but whatever.

A lot of people including myself who read the manga were expecting the two to at leastget to the confession by the end of this episode, but the reason that people like this is for the fact that they get together rather quickly, and any misunderstanding gets resolved rather quickly. If they don't put in filler in the next episode, they should get to the confession, so stick with it for a bit.
