I don't think I agree with your definition of 'likeable', then. The only character I didn't really like was Grandpa Aozaki, and he didn't exactly have a lot of screentime.
I'm fine with current Type Moon, I still like Fate, and am one of the few people that knows each new iteration of Fate isn't just "Rehashed shit milking bullshit by hack".
Of the ten Fate stories that have come out in the last few years, Nasu has probably worked on two of them. It's not like "Bitch keeps working on more Fates instead of doing my thing" which is what people are really bitching about.
Nasu is entirely free to work on new shit, and Fate keeps coming out regardless by different authors and artists. It's just that coincidentally for the first time in a few years he is working on a Fate title again, which is that iPhone game.

Life is all about those times when you may not be ready or you may not want it, but you step up to the plate slowly.
