It's not PTSD. I just don't find slapstick funny in the least. Goes for any extreme physical abuse, actually. Just like how some people like silly fart/sex/weed jokes and others don't. Variety is the spice of life. I would personally group them together as very lowbrow humor, but that does amuse some people.

In old Chinese drama/wuxia, it's often used for tsundere heroines as a way to deal with their love interest as budding endearment of able to get along very well between a boy and a girl.

No, it hasn't crossed my mind at all. That's because it's your opinion and nothing more than that. Western culture often sees extreme physical and verbal abuse as funny aswell, a lot of western cartoons, for example, have physical gags mixed in for the enjoyment of the children that often watch it. Not the mention the many, many films that included this act throughout history.
