Expecting anything even remotely intelligent from Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come is utterly foolish. It is an absolutely preposterous parade of loner cliche wrapped up in a nauseating wish fulfillment fantasy. This is not to say that wish fulfillment is an inherent flaw in storytelling, but the glorification of loners in Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come is both nonsensical and infuriating. It might be nice for socially dysfunctional individuals like yourself to imagine yourself as the hero of your own story, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come effectively only undermines itself.
The key underlying issue here is that Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru purports an immature world view through two poorly conceived main characters. Both Hachiman and Yukino profess to dislike the real world because reality does not conform to a set of clear cut rules hence their decision to flee to some service club where everything is a request. Hachiman in particular speaks extensively throughout the show about the weakness and cruelty of humanity as if he if is a paragon of wisdom regarding human nature. Naturally this all raises the question of why Hachiman and Yukino act the way they do, but no adequate answer is ever given. Beyond the patronizing feelings this generates, it is hard to take the show at face value when the character espousing such ideas is just a loner who probably has not been through much of anything.

Despite their preaching about not having friends, they have zero qualms about exploiting and skirting around every relationship they make. These underhanded tactics they employ to fulfill requests in essence make them no different from the society they so loathe. Additionally, they act extremely mean spirited to anyone who does not see everything in the world like they do. Hachiman and Yukino are far away from being understandable, let alone sympathetic protagonists.
