The official manga translation uses Jerusalem's Lot, but the author probably intended it to be a pun that doesn't translate to English with Hellsalem (J's in japanese are like H's), and didn't convey it properly. Jerusalem's Lot sounds better.

It's not called New York anymore. Once the gate opened, everything changed there. We don't know exactly what happened but it was rechristened 'Hellsalem's Lot'. It was a reference in Japanese to Stephen King's Jerusalem's Lot. Jerusalem is pronounced "eruseiremu" while in the show they say "heruseiremu".
Apparently HL is the official translation but Dark Horse has it translated as Jerusalem in the manga.
