I was pretty pissed when he only did the OP theme for the movie trilogy. A part of what makes the old anime so good is his atmospheric OST.
I suppose he might be picky about who he works with, Kon is dead and the dude who directed the Berserk TV show hasn't done anything since 2006. Looking at Susumu's catalogue though, he's not actually composed that much for anime. I'd love to see him do a mech show at some point, maybe even FSS.

I'm struggling with this break more than the rest.
Outside of the break where Miura devoted his attention to his one-shot, this has been the longest break thus far.
Part of my mind is hoping Miura has been working on 4-5 chapters in order to complete volume 38, or at least is working on 3 chapters to release over a 6-week period, but I'm slowly turning to stone inside.
I have the utmost respect for Miura, but is he struggling to write a plausible scenario where Rickert exists in Falconia after slapping a very-much-real, very-much-powerful and very-much-evil physical/astral embodiment of Berserk's Christianity?
Makes me wonder how Miura will tackle Casca's mind, given how it's vastly more complex than the relatively mundane stuff we've had the last decade.

We are at years-light of watching something related to that happening.
How I see the basic problem is in Fantasia Miura basically expanded the world A LOT so instead solving things in the near future what we are goint to see are new subplots increasing. And that thought really disturbs me.
I won't say it needs to finish ASAP, but it was time to start solving things not creating new branches
