Best first episode so far this season.
>>
I still don't know if is a girl or boy
>>
>>123626321
I liked Kekkai Sensen more
>>
It wasn't even a good episode. I still have hopes for the show though because the plot hasn't started yet.
>>
>>123626321
So this kid is Buddha, right?
A prince that had all the luxuries in the world and he's naive but he feels other people's suffering and might end up being a pacifist?
I'd like that, so much.

I think you may have posted in the wrong thread, or misunderstand the words 'good' and 'plot'.

Glib piss-taking aside, this was a very strong first episode, with good exposition and character setting. It's easy to see where it's going, but I'm looking forward to the next one nonetheless. Nice to see an anime in a fantasy setting that isn't complete dogshit.
>>
>>123626958
Fuck you, Maria was amazing last season.
>>
>>123626495
It's whatever you want it to be, man.
>>
>>123626321
Probably. At least, of the ones I've watched.
>>
>no more cute lewd shota
>>
>>123627647
At what point was there a lewd shota
>>
>>123626321
This and Kekkai Sensen are the only decent things so far.
>>
>>123626495
...does it even matter?
>>
>>123626321
Nope thats Shokugeki no Soma.
>>
>>123627753
Hand holding, anon
>>
>>123626321
Plastic Memories has better first episode, but this was still good
>>
I agree, I very liked the first episode..

and I'd hit that. No homo
>>
>>123626321
The CG was shit and i want this series be good,

Yona?
>>
>>123628132

It was pretty good but Kekkai Sensen tops it.

Arslan is so lewd.
>>
>>123628799

Not that anon, but I thought Plastic Memories had a strong episode 1, I thought the characters were likable and its set up its premise pretty well, and visually looked nice. I haven't watched this yet to compare, but PM has my attention.
>>
>>123628230
>I'd hit that. No homo
Don't know who you're referring to, but you could say that for any of the main cast and I wouldn't judge you.
>>
>>123626958
>Nice to see an anime in a fantasy setting that isn't complete dogshit.

Bahamut
>>
>>123629685
He said isn't complete dogshit
>>
>>123626495
Get your eyes checked. Clearly a boy in the image.
>>
>>123629732
but bahamut was really good
>>
>>123630479
It was mediocre shit.
>>
>>123630507
so which anime is good in your opinion?
>>
>>123630507

Even though I feel Bahamut fell off a bit towards the end, I think it's exaggerating to say that it's mediocre shit. It was still pretty good.
>>
>>123628850
>Kekkai Sensen
The bastard offspring of Kill la Kill, The Mist and Gintama.

It was alright, I'll watch the next one but it wasn't that interesting.
>>
>>123626321
Best first episode goes to Kekkai Sensen.

>>123626495
He's was getting called a prince throughout the entire episode, i'm guessing you haven't even watched the show yet so i'll let this slide.
>>
Does the ending have anything to do with the story? It kinda reminds me of an rpg and I wouldn't mind seeing more of that. I just wish they'd ditch the CGI battles.
>>
>>123630999
The CGI was fine, except for that one bit where for no apparent reason they decided to make some dudes running down an alley be CGI. That was on a par with the CGI bananas in T&B.

>>
>>123628116
Is that girl or a boy on the left?
>>
>>123631583
They are both girls.
>>
>>123631716
Nope.
>>
>>123631716
But is the one on the left the type of girl with a feminine penis?
>>
>>123631801
>feminine penis
>penis
>feminine
>>
Plastic memories had the best first ep. It's not even a contest.
>>
>>123631927
You're new is showing.
>>
>>123631969
Three people have mentioned this so I'm going to watch it; it had better not be some chintzy chobits crap.

>>123631801
And feminine balls.
>>
>>123631292
Was Akatsuki no Yona good? I completely ignored it while it was airing and haven't bothered with the manga, but I've gotten curious in the last few days.
>>
>>123632683
If you can ignore (or, better, enjoy) it being a bit harem-y, it's a piece of decent low-magic fantasy, with fairly interesting characters. Also its attempts at humour generally work.

Plus it's set in Fantasy North Korea, which is something new.

Lazy ass person that made the shitty one. Here it is the non shitty one.
>>
>>123632945
>tfw you'll never get an anime about the life of based Shapur II
>>
>>123632683
If you like Arslan/Akatsuki stuff and don't mind non-fantasy, there's plenty of manga to fill your needs.
>>
>>123632945

Current Arslan is objectively superior. Just look at the difference in shine of their armor. Arakawa Arslan can sell his chest plate for enough money to fund 2 battalions if he finds the right idiot to scam.

Meanwhile old Arslan's helmet is already rusting and clearly has seen action. At best you just put it on someone's head and use them as a decoy.
>>
>>123632862
>>123633020
Sounds nice. I'll just watch a few episodes and read a few chapters and then settle on which I'll stick with.
>>
>>123632945
I still fucked up. Give me two seconds.

You could crop it so we know who it's talking about.
>>
>>123633258
Erm, I wasn't promoting Akatsuki, it's still in my back log. I'm just saying while there aren't many anime that fits the same genre as Arslan, there's a lot when it comes to manga with minor differences.
