It pretty seamlessly integrates both healing SoL, suffering and battles in the same series without feeling jarring at all. Also has a very well rounded cast, I couldn't really pick a favorite while watching, I just liked them all. It's only significant flaw in my opinion is that their pacing is a bit strange, leaving the final episodes compressing a lot of development in less time than I think it deserved.

So the basic premise of it was the characters are living inside a just released and unfertilized egg and fighting with vectors/sperm trying to get inside the egg to fertilize it. So they're trying to preserve the egg, and thus keep their world from being destroyed. A vertex getting inside/pregnancy would be an end to their carefree life. But the happy ending for them is just to make it through their journey down the the fallopian tubes, fighting all the way, until they can become menses and then a new egg will be born. It's darker in a similar way as Madoka since even a victory from the character's point of view is only temporary. But it's also got the added layer of commentary on youth and freedom being threatened by the unwanted adult responsibility of pregnancy and childbirth and parenthood that makes it more emotionally sophistacted.

The only things it has in common with Dokes are the character designs and the fact that there's a dark twist. But the characters are very different and the actual twist of the world is also different (and coming much later). It's also heavily character-focused. Like >>123458544 said, it's more Symphogear than Madoka.
The CG is mostly because Gokumi is a literally-who studio with a few bowls of cold udon for a budget. It was used well, though.

I can't help but think that the ending is just weird. They were in an utterly hopeless situation, and things were just...fixed, for no real explanation.
I mean, what was the point of it? Doesn't this mean that cripple girl (Also the hottest one) decided to try and DESTROY THE WORLD over absolutely nothing? It just feels weirdly pointless to me, because it was much ado over nothing.

From what I understand Shinju decided to cut his losses and return function to the yuushas' body parts (since it's the Shinju that powers everything in the world), since he realised how dangerous emotionally unstable middle school girls could be.
