Because that's what Mana does to her clones. Kurumi herself made it clear in volume 4 Mana was too weak and she was just toying with her. Why would Kurumi be angered when Mana can't even touch her? I think the point between Mana and Kurumi relationship is that, unlike Tohka and Origami, only one side despises the other, Kurumi acknowledges Mana strength to leave Shidou in her hands, while Mana truly despises Kurumi for making fun of her and the previous defeat.
It's an on-sided rivalry with Kurumi just following Mana's reactions for fun and that's it.

Figthing Mana would have been a waste of energy and time for Kurumi and I think she was smart enough to realize this, especially when a monster like Ellen was waiting for them.
