AssClass anime is pretty good, especially good when you consider it was Toei that was doing it. Nisekoi & Haikyuu both also have great anime. Gintama anime is arguably more popular than its manga. Soma isn't even out.
The only time WSJ anime is straight shit is when they decide to do long running seasons like One Piece, Naruto, & World Trigger because the animation suffer and you have to suffer trough filler garbage.
When they do regular single cour anime and take breaks in between the anime does well. I can go on why single & double cour anime is a much better model to work with than just giving your anime to Toei and telling them run an episode every single week.
