Shiki is one of the best written characters imo. Wish I could support this better but I remember debating this with myself and coming to this conclusion, but not the reason behind it.
As for a fight, I think Rider wins because of range advantage. With Rider's eyes, Shiki won't have a chance to use her own... Although it does send magic as a projectile so if Shiki were capable she could cut it? Idk.
