Should I watch the two new sagas? I heard B/W was sort of bad but supposedly X/Y is pretty good.Dub or sub? I watched all the previous stuff in dub because that is what I remember as a kid but the changing voice actors sort of got to me and am not familiar with the sub quality

Same here. Except it was up to around the beginning of the DP saga, since that had just started at the time. And it was my first anime.
I skipped DP because I didn't like it much and was burned out. Started BW but eventually dropped it cause it was shit.
